Pony rides, camel racing, animal farm, exotic animals. We offer camel rides, pony rides, animal farms and exotic animal displays, all contained in the one area, or as an individual event.

We provide animal farms which are a mixture of traditional barnyard farm sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, pigs and more exotic species including Alpaca, Chinese Crested ducks, Peking and Silky bantams and pygmy goats. In or rare breeds, we can provide water buffalo, llama and donkeys.

We strive to make this an educational as well as a fun environment.

Australia's Living History takes you back to these times with live demonstrations, stories and displays of the little known or forgotten parts of our past.  Australia's Living History is a performance-based attraction that is both entertaining and educational and it appeals to young and old alike.

We have a unique, entertaining and light hearted approach about our early history. With live demonstrations showing important facets of how we lived from the 1800’s to Federation. The colourful and interesting display in itself is an attraction, live demonstrations and our wonderful working dogs and ducks as a backdrop is a great crowd pleaser. The kids love us, their parents remember and our seniors reminisce.

MANOEUVRE

Manoeuvre is an elite stilt performance company provIding roving stilt acts to festivals, nightclubs and corporate events throughout Australia and overseas.

Much more than simply "walkers", these Stilt Performers; whilst strutting, looping and dancing through the crowd, stimulate the imagination, inspire joy and offer an engaging, playful and interactive experience for audiences of various sizes.

Manoeuvres characters are available separately or in combination.
While they most frequently appear as a duo, they are also available as solo characters, and selected acts, as groups of 3, 4 or 5.

Once you are familiar with Manoeuvre's work and you feel that your audience has already had the Manoeuvre experience, think again, as new characters and costumes are always in the pipeline.

Stage Shows

While Manoeuvre performances are not stage shows per se, Manoeuvre are able to effectively hold an audience in an informal or semi-formal setting.

For example, Jack and Jack have performed a 20 minute set in front of a grandstand at the races in Mombai, India; and Blax have performed a 5 minute set for a seated audience at an Audi launch in Seoul, Korea.

Manoeuvre characters can also be combined with other performers within a larger performance context. For example Blax have performed as part of a stage show at The Family NIghtclub - Brisbanes premier nightclub.

Melville's Petting Farm

Melville's Petting Farm/Pavilion has been voted as one of the best presented animal farms in Australia.  The Animal Farm, being one of the most visited sites on any showgrounds, is an integral part of the entertainment with patrons returning two or three times throughout the day.  Our presentation is paramount and we take pride in our animals, display and staff.

We are a family business and have been operating for the past 22 years, specialising in shows, corporate events, functions, movie productions and television commercials/documentaries.

Our Mobile Animal Petting Farm includes cute and cuddly babies through to exotic feature animals such as llama, alpaca, camel, water buffalo and Middle Eastern Fat Tailed Sheep, as well as some very special feature animals such as albino calf, Texas long and many more.

Melville's can provide a complete animal pavilion for your large metropolitan show or our custom built marquee can be used for smaller regional shows who do not have a purpose built animal pavilion.

We also have available Cobb & Co stage coaches and carriages, blacksmithing and sheep shearing demonstrations, whip cracking displays and Australiana themeing.

Memphis Moovers

They will shake, rattle and roll you! Flip, flop and fly you! You'll move baby move! But that's alright mama, because the Memphis Moovers have hit town - dressed in bright 50's style suits with large 50's ducktail hair, pushing a traditional style Jukebox.

The Memphis Mooves have been doing their "thing" since 1997 and have gathered themselves a great reputation amongst festivals and events throughout Queensland and beyond.

These guys are a wealth of talent, performing all the great songs from the 50's to the 80's.

They can rove as a duo or trio through to a 4-5 piece roving band, we rove with our cute novelty cars and can also perform on stage as a 4-5 piece live band.

Moovin' Balloonin' - a zany character on foot or in a novelty car balloon modelling.  Great for kids and adults alike

Odes Freestyle Team

Odes Freestyle Team is a new team of freestyle motocross riders on the entertainment circuit. The team have been riding freestyle for six years and individually have been involved in freestyle motocross shows for three years. As Odes run their own shows and don't use a promoter, they are able to perform for less than the current big name motorcycle teams.

Odes pay particular attention to getting the crowd involved, sign autographs and stage a competition style show, judged by the crowd.

Professor Wallace's Puppets

Professor Wallace's Puppet Theatre is one of the oldest continuous performing acts in Australia, with its origins dating back over one hundred years. Puppets perform from either a circus wagon or puppet booth, with shows running for between 30 and 40 minutes.

This variety show combines traditional wooden hand puppets, marionettes and modern puppets. All performances include lots of audience interaction.

Radical Reptiles

Radical Reptiles is Licensed to display Australian Native Wildlife in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.  We have a number of different displays that we can bring to you.  Please contact us about your requirements, and we can structure a program to suit.  Our most popular display is our Show Pit.  It showcases live venomous snakes, pythons and lizards as well as an entertaining commentary on how to stay safe around snakes.

RSPCA EMU

The EMU is RSPCA Queensland's Education Mobile Unit. It is a classroom on wheels equipped with the latest in computer and audiovisual technology and play-based animal welfare education. Our fully trained RSPCA Educators provide fun filled, hands on learning experience about animal welfare. We supply follow-up activities, allowing teachers to build on the EMU learning experience and inspire their students to show more empathetic behaviour towards animals and to people.
