SHOW DATE INFORMATION:
Queensland Shows maintains a register of Show Dates for all affiliated Shows for 5 years in advance. These dates are provided (along with associated formula) by individual Shows through Sub Chambers to the Queensland Shows Office. Where dates have not been provided by a Show the current formula has been used to forecast dates out to 2017. These dates have now been ratified to allow advance planning by the many organisations involved in your show.
Queensland Shows endeavours to ensure all show dates create a flow on effect for the purpose of Show Holidays and to ensure maximum participation by Competitors, Entertainers and the Showmens Guild
In the event that a Show requires a change to any of these dates the following procedures should be followed:
1. Ascertain suitable alternative dates and have these ratified by Show Committee
2. Have alternative dates ratified by Sub Chamber
3. Advise Queensland Shows in writing of proposed alternative Show Dates

Please note that due to publications printed by Government and other agencies it is imperative that Queensland Shows be notified of any changes to Show Dates by the 30th June in the year prior to the planned Show.
Queensland Shows will then consult with State Government, Showmens Guild and other organisations to ensure these alternative dates are suitable to all parties
Once agreed by all parties the new date will be promulgated in support of the requesting Show.
Any anomalies should be brought to the attention of Queensland Shows as soon as possible. The following form may be used to report these anomalies
