To celebrate the 100 years of support to Queensland Show Societies, the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies has published a book showcasing the show movement in Queensland. This book includes information from the original minute book of 1909 and highlights the activities of some of Queensland's Shows and Sub Chambers during the last 100 years. |
To purchase a copy of this great insight into Queensland's history, please email qcas@bigpond.net.au or phone 07 3252 1630 No profit is gained from the sale of this book and all proceeds go towards supporting Queensland Agricultural Shows |

Hello folks, This note is to let you know that the ACAS/Coca-Cola Regional Scholarships will be available in 2010 and to provide you with a link to the website www.acas.asn.au/coca-cola where it is possible to lodge an on line entry or download a hard copy entry form.
In the past five years more than 150 young people from rural and regional Australia have benefited from this program and all of them have been active contributing members of their local agricultural society. Indeed the availability of the scholarships provides an incentive for membership of agricultural societies.
